A Letter About Sex, Consent, and the Future You May Create
To those who care enough to read this—
We live in a world that repeats one word over and over again, like a mantra: Yes.
Yes to casual sex.
Yes to temporary pleasure.
Yes to escape.
Yes to apps, to swiping, to loneliness wrapped in skin.
Yes to bodies we don’t even try to understand.
Yes to pretending consequences don’t exist.
Yes to pretending we’re not already hurting.
But we’ve forgotten the sacred weight of yes.
Saying yes can fuel an addiction.
To say yes to sex is to say yes to the possibility of a life.
To say yes to a person’s body is to say yes to their soul/journey.
To say yes to pleasure is to say yes to responsibility.
Or at least—it should be.
