DODO—Words Mean Something

This may be the most important, dangerous, and honest thought I have ever expressed.

I have been in public debate spaces for well over a decade—live streams, open panels, spontaneous street theology, chaotic dialogues that sprawl into hours. I entered with conviction, curiosity, and a desire for truth.

I leave with scars without claiming to be a victim.

What I’ve witnessed is not merely misunderstanding, ignorance, or honest disagreement. It’s much deeper than that.

It’s warfare.

I’ve come to name it: linguistic terrorism.

This is not a term I use lightly.

When I first said it aloud, people gasped. Then they paused and something unexpected occurred—they agreed. They’ve felt/seen it too—though they may not have had the words for it.

This is not a metaphor.

This is a diagnosis of those who seek extinction.

IBIS—What Is Linguistic Terrorism?

It is not about saying the wrong thing.

It’s about using speech as a weapon—consciously or unconsciously—to control others, to silence dissent, and/or to fracture understanding.
