I write to you not in condemnation or judgement, nor in argument or anger, but in honesty—because honesty is the first light that leads us anywhere worth going.
I believe that Atheism is a gateway to suicide.
This may be physical and/or spiritual suicide.
Atheism → Naturalism → Nominalism → Nihilism
To be an atheist is not merely to lack belief. It is not simply an absence, a passive state, a void where faith should have been. It is a choice—an act of will, a moral decision made by one who has reached the age of reason and the weight of agency.
We are not born atheists.
We are born believing in something.
We are born trusting, believing in the presence of the arms that hold us, in the sound of the voices that soothe us, in the moment of the world we enter. A child does not assume meaninglessness—s/heassumes Love. S/He assumes truth.
Before we deny, we must learn what we are denying.
